Alessandro Viola, Note di Rosso 2020

Predominantly Nero d’Avola with a touch of Syrah, this versatile blend lets its terroir shine. Biodynamically farmed grapes are harvested in September by hand and undergo spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts.

Aged on its lees in chestnut wood for six months, per the traditional Sicilian method. Lots of juicy dark fruit and a touch of wild herbs. No added sulfur. Lush without being full-bodied, it’s a crowd pleaser for natural wine aficionados and everyone else.
