Angiolino Maule, Sassaia 2022

Mineral and crisp, with a hint of warmth no doubt imparted from its time in Oak barrels. Light to medium bodied, dry but not to the bone, with a beautiful salinity on first taste.

Sassaia is produced with 100% Garganega cultivated in the vineyards close to the winery, on Sorio hills, whose soil is rich in minerals. The fermentation is spontaneous and it takes place in 30hl oak barrels, without temperature control. It is bottled in April or May of the following year, without clarification or filtration.
