Kumpf & Meyer, Riesling 2019/2020

This is an excellent Riesling to give someone who thinks they don’t like Riesling. From vines planted in the clay-limestone soils of the Molsheim and Rosheim hillsides, maintained with low-impact biodynamic practices. In the cellar, it’s a true zero-zero affair; fermentation with indigenous yeasts and aging for 11 months in stainless steel tanks and foudre.

Lemon zest, citrus, mineral, and a hint of green apple. Clean and refreshing with nice acidity.
