Masieri 2023 is produced from 100% Garganega grapes, cultivated organically on the volcanic slopes of Gambellara. The basalt-rich soils contribute to the wine's inherent minerality, while the region's climate ensures a balance between ripeness and acidity.
After hand-harvesting, the grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks, a process that preserves the varietal's fresh and fruity character. The wine is aged on its lees for several months, enhancing its texture and complexity. Bottling is done without fining or filtration, and minimal sulfur is added, aligning with Angiolino Maule's natural winemaking philosophy.
Masieri 2023 presents aromas of white flowers, ripe pear, and a hint of almond, characteristic of the Garganega grape. On the palate, it is vibrant and refreshing, with a crisp acidity and a clean, mineral-driven finish. This versatile wine pairs excellently with seafood, poultry, and vegetarian dishes.
