Wonderfully fresh Pinot Noir from 40 year-old vines growing in limestone soils south of Molsheim. As with all of Julien’s wines, all fruit was grown according to low intervention certified organic and biodynamic standards and no sulfur was added in the winemaking process.

Pressing took place after 15 days of maceration. Aged for 13 months in old barrels and demi-muids and bottled in July of 2020. 2018 was a very hot year, which lead to high sugar and low nitrogen, making for lengthy fermentations. Aromas of red berries and herbs, fine tannins and beautiful freshness on the palate. Bursting with red fruits, this is an exceptional Pinot Noir.
